New On Halloween
We're new down here
It's been just a year
Will a lot of kids come to our door?
Yelling 'Trick or Treat'
They'll be wanting some sweets
Do you think they'll come back for more?
Don't know how they'll react
If it's sweets we lack
Will our windows and cars get soaped?
Please make us aware
With us please share
It's their wrath we don't want to invoke.
So we'll play it safe
Get more candy in case
We're inundated with
creatures of the night
We'll put on a smile
Knowing all the while
They might scare us with their fright.
