Happily the sun shines,
Birds sing around me,
Blissful is the dance
Of leaves on the tree,
Joyful are the flowers
Coloring the fields,
Endless is the joy
God’s love to me yields,
Perfect is the peace
In my heart I feel,
Powerful is His presence,
Remarkable and real.
Yes, happily the sun shines,
Joyful the song I sing;
Happily I sing praises
For Jesus, my King.
He dons me with love,
Clothes me in white,
Washes me with mercy,
Warms me with light,
Fills me with His Spirit,
Sparks eternity in my eyes,
Paves my every step,
Lifts me to the skies,
Whispers sweet wisdom,
Shows love to endure,
Embraces me with blessings
Perfect and pure.
So happily the sun shines,
I choose to shine too,
I rejoice in Jesus
Through all that I do.
Before His cross
I humbly kneel,
Witnessing His love
Limitless and real,
Marveling the joy
His love to me yields,
Singing with the flowers
Of the green fields..
Yes, happily the sun shines,
Blissful the dancing tree,
Happily I sing of Jesus,
Of His love for me!
