Close To The Brokenhearted
As my heart cried out today
Lord, please hear me in my pain,
I opened up His Word to me
To still the chilling rain.
He replied. I am your hiding place
My way to you I'll show,
My unfailing love surrounds you now
For all you need to know.
You can rejoice in Me, my child
Be glad and sing with all your heart,
For I am faithful in all I do
My love will lead you on your path.
The plans I have for you will stand
My purposes come true,
I am watching, for I am near
I know all that they do.
Nothing can escape my notice
Their might shall fade away,
But my eyes are on those I own
You can trust all that I say.
The angel of The Lord encamps
Around broken hearts who hope in Me,
I will, deliver you from trouble
My blessing you will see.
