Songs of birds
Echo through trees,
Dancing delightfully
On a summer breeze,

Refreshing my soul,
Inspiring my smile,
Reminding me of Jesus,
Yes, all the while,

Uplifting my heart,
Filling me with song,
Opening my eyes
To love wide and long.

Yes, the songs of birds
All around me
Set my heart
So blissfully free,

For I hear Jesus
In chords they sing,
Yes, I hear Jesus,
His rich blessing,

I hear His love,
I hear His peace,
I feel His mercy,
I taste sweet release,

I see Heaven,
I see treasures in store,
I see eternity,
Indeed even more.

In His strong arms
I surely belong,
He is the source
Of my sweet song,

He is my happiness,
He is my smile,
The spring in my step
Indeed every mile,

Yes, as songs of birds
Echo through each tree,
I sing of sweet Jesus,
How He loves me!
