Lord help me to know You as I should
To obey You each time You speak;
Lord give me joy, Your Love to see,
Teach me always to trust in Thee.
I have not obeyed Thee as I ought
Or been thankful for Your Love,
Help me Lord to know You're near,
Cause' one day soon I'll meet You there.
Help me Lord to care for others
As You teach me from Your word;
Grant me Lord my heart prepare,
Then I know, I have nothing to fear.
Thank You Lord for all the blessings
That You send along life's way;
Help me Lord to praise and Love You,
More and more each passing day.
