Tomorrow, you and I shall go
Somewhere far, far, far away,
Along a lovely pretty lane
To that, oh, what shall you say.
Tomorrow, ah, we don't know when
We shall skip with joy along the path,
Way into a glorious glen,
Together, one in heart.
Tomorrow, on God's perfect day,
All our dreams will there come true,
We shall journey where we long to be,
Where each breath is fresh and new.
Tomorrow, oh, why can't we go today,
Where streams shall gurgle by,
Flowers bloom, to gather then
Run wild, with arms extended wide.
Tomorrow, where sweet moments sigh,
We will roll in grasses green,
Breathe of pungent fragrance,
Pluck fruit from budding trees.
Tomorrow, our most wondrous day of hope
We shall run up to the door,
Laughing, chattering, all the while
Bathe in Son-shine on the porch.
Tomorrow, when all heartache will be o'er,
We'll be walking in that garden glade,
Our dear Lord e'er waiting there
With arms out wide to say...
Come dear heart, tomorrow now,
is yours forever,
in our perfect hideaway.

Poetry From The Heart
Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life,
as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God
and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city.
On each side of the river stood the tree of life,
bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month.
And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.
No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God
and of the Lamb will be in the city, and His servants will serve Him.
They will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads.
There will be no more night. They will not need the light
of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God
will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.
