If all our days were sunshine
We all would complain
Wanting to feel once more
The cool refreshing rain.
If all the world was music
Our hearts would often long
For one strain of sweet silence
To stop the endless song.
If our life was always merry
Our ears would seek release
To rest from all the laughter
In a quiet place of peace.
If we accept Jesus as Savior and pray
And live our lives for Him each day
Jesus will hear all that we say
And shine His light on our pathway.
