What would happen if we could never pray
And ask God for guidance each day
How dark the night without His light to shine
The thought strikes fear in this heart of mine.
What if we could never again sing a song
Our days would ever feel so long
But all of these things we need not fear
Because God will always be near.
Believe that God will never let us fall
He understands and loves us all
Pray and He will give you peace of mind
And His light will forever shine.
God will hear when we seek Him in prayer
Because He loves us and is always there
He will put a song back into our heart
And from us He will never depart.
