~My Daughter Lives In Paradise~

I had a little girl
God gave her to me
I held her so close
Forever to be

For how blessed I am, that Jesus chose me
To bear Him a child, His heaven to see
No more shall she suffer, no years shall she grieve
Jesus took her to be, where she'll truly live

My daughter's of heaven, no more to fit here
There's nothing of earth, that she could hold dear
Except those she loves and soon we'll be there
To be with her always, that new life to share

My daughter's in paradise and aren't I so blessed
To know she is safe, my heart is at rest
She is not left behind, to suffer so deep
To watch us all die, in heartbreak to weep

I love her so much, I'm glad she was swept
Up into glory, forevermore kept
Jesus will hold me, His love is so sure
While my daughter's set free, from being my all

I hold precious memory, to keep in my heart
For my daughter's in me, we never can part
For I know all we shared, was such perfect love
Though now out of sight, we'll always be one

A sweet secret smile, I hold deep within
For her joy and delight is all guaranteed
And God gave me her heart
Forever to keep

Your greatest pleasure is that which
rebounds from a heart that you have
made forever glad
