In the morning dawn I watch the seagulls fly
The orange sun shines for me in the day
Where am I going and what do I want to be
I know God in His heaven is smiling down at me
In the morning dawn I wonder how the time does go
I look out my window and see how the trees do blow
I think of all the people who live around the world
May God protect them as they walk in their land
I hope they are at peace the best that they can
In the morning dawn all is quiet except the wind and trees
I pray all is well with nature and with me
Dear God keep an eye out for those in need
When night comes may there be calm
