Where Is Jesus?
My Jesus is not my co-pilot,
nor is He the Man Who's upstairs.
He is not someone far off in Heaven
to Whom I am saying my prayers.
Although my dim eyes cannot see Him,
I know He abides in my heart.
When I prayed, and my sins were forgiven,
He promised He'd never depart.
He's my Pilot, my Lord, and my Master;
my Savior, my Comfort, my Friend.
He is Life, He is Hope, He is Safety,
and He has no beginning nor end.
His omniscience and His omnipresence
are things that I can't understand.
But He knows all the pleas that I utter,
and He guides me with His loving hand.
It is awesome to know there's no problem
so big, or so small I can't share.
For He helps me in each situation,
and I know He will always be there.
My friend, if you still do not know
Him, and you haven't invited Him in,
He is now standing right there beside you,
and He wants to forgive all your sin.
I hope you will pray to receive Him,
and trust in the Father's own Son.
So someday I can meet you in Heaven,
when our work here on earth is all done.
~chorus~
He's my Pilot, my Lord, and my Master;
my Savior, my Comfort, my Friend.
He is Life, He is Hope, He is Safety,
and He has no beginning nor end.
