~ Hallelujah, Christ Arose ~

The dawn is now breaking
A new day has begun
The grave could not hold him
Jesus Christ, God’s Only Son

With death no more the conqueror
Jesus arose up from the grave
His promise he did keep
The Stone Was Rolled Away
And an empty tomb was there

Mary’s heart was now broken
And has her tears flowed freely
Her heart in great despair
When she could not find her Jesus there

An angel nearby the tomb
Told Mary not to fear
That Christ Jesus had arisen
And to dry her tears

Then Jesus spoke her name
Her heart was over joyed
To see the risen Christ,
In splendor and in Glory

Jesus said to Mary
Go now Mary and spread the Word
What I’ve said to them is true
Where I go, you cannot go
But I will come again
Of this you can be sure

A Savior, Christ the Lord has risen
He was crucified, dead and buried
And lives again today
Hallelujah, He Arose!
What a grand and glorious day

Happy Easter
A New Life For You can begin today

And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene,
and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought
sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.

And very early in the morning the first day of the week,
they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.

And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us
away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?

And when they looked, they saw that the stone
was rolled away: for it was very great.

And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man
sitting on the right side, clothed in a
long white garment; and they were affrighted.

And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted
Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified:
He is risen; He is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
Mark Chapter 16: vs. 1-6 (KJV)
