Jesus turned my darkness into light,
And He made everything all right.
He picked me up when I was down,
Then He turned my life around.
When I needed someone, He was there
Though at times it seemed He did not care
And I felt I could not make it another day
Then Jesus took all my doubts away.
Jesus is God's gift from above
And He forgave my sin showing love
If I didn't have Him, what would I be?
My savior is what Jesus is to me.
Jesus walks beside me each day
He always listens to me when I pray
Lost and alone, no longer will I be
Jesus is the only way for me, you see.
