Jesus came from heaven above
And traveled over land and sea
He came to teach of God's love
But many did not believe.

Jesus had one last journey to make
The road to the cross He must take
The journey was a price He must pay
And His load was heavy on that day.



Jesus was beaten black and blue
Up to the hill of Calvary He was led
A crown of thorns placed on His head
This journey was made for me and you.

Jesus completed His journey with love
Believe, and ask Jesus to forgive your sin
The promise He made you can depend
And one day see Jesus in heaven above.
