~Roses for your birthday~
I dreamt of buying roses
For you to softly hold,
So you could run your fingers
whimsically
Within their velvet folds.

I considered a gift of chocolates
To melt deliciously with delight,
So you could choose your favourites
lingering
On every tempting bite.

I wondered on a promise box
So you could choose one every day,
To walk on garden paths
with Jesus
Following His way.

I wanted to find the perfect gift
To show how much I care,
But I know to give my love
every day
Is the best promise I can share.

Happy Birthday
And God's abundant blessings
for special you
My forever prayer.
