Pumpkin Kitties written by Joyce Ann Geyer with love................... Pumpkin Kitties.......

Our garden has watermelons in summer, and pumpkins in autumn
Look at those kitties playing in the pumpkin patch
Romping in and out of the leaves and vines
They see the butterfly they are trying to catch

These little kitties are so frisky, full of mischief
Adorable, soft and cuddly, and look so innocent
Fun loving and go places not many pets can go
Fussy, finicky, and so clean and decent
Crafty, smart and a mind of their own
Don't try to call them they don't respond
Only if they are hungry and want to be fed
They see their reflection in the pond

They jump back when their paw gets wet
Wonderful to have a pet and share your love
They play and tumble with each other
These are beautiful gifts from God Above.

Poetry by Joyce

And God said, Let the land produce living creatures
according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that
move along the ground, and wild animals, each according
to its kind. And it was so. God made the wild animals
according to their kinds, the livestock according to
their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground
according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
Genesis 1:24-25
