Jesus gathered His twelve apostles
So together they could have one last meal
As they began,
Jesus said to Judas
"Do what you must and do it quickly"
as Jesus served him from His hand.
After Judas went away
The Lord Jesus said to Peter
"Tonight, before the cock crows thrice
Me, you will betray"
Jesus picked up the bread and said
"This is my body, for you and for many"
Then He picked up the wine and said
"This is my blood, drink, in remembrance of Me"
Today, we take Communion to
Remember Jesus love for us,
When as one we come to Him,
Partaking of the emblems of His love,
We thank our precious Jesus,
Who took our place upon the cross
To take us home with Him above.

How can I say thanks
For the things You have done for me,
