~Love Beyond Comprehension~
So much transpires between us
more than mortal tongue can explain
like stars that light midnight skies
or a rainbow after hours of rain.
Like flower's bloom after winter thaw
or awakening of the hibernating bear
love transcends as a homing dove
returning with it's elegant flair.
Cameras cannot capture the glow
words of poets can never reveal
artists can't paint on canvas the emotion
or the deep rooted devotion we feel.
Love goes beyond existence of earth
hovering between God's heavenly realm
flowing toward the heart of you and I
with sensations that totally overwhelm.
Cradled in dreams are we somewhere
between the dawn and dark of night
resting upon promises sincerely made
when we first accepted this love flight.
