Love, Sweet Love (of Lord Jesus)

The birds sing
All around me,
Orchestrating symphonies
On branches of the tree,

Singing of love,
Rejoicing in light,
Telling of Jesus,
Of His mercy and might,



Sharing good news
With all who hear,
Saying that to God
We are always dear,

Yes, the birds sing,
Their song I embrace,
It is rich with joy,
Sweet with grace.



And I will sing
With the birds too,
I feel such happiness
When I do.

How can I silence
My love for my King?
How can I choose
But now to sing?



Yes, with the birds
I sing each day,
I rejoice with psalms,
I worship and pray,

For Jesus, sweet Jesus,
He is my song;
He lifts me to the heavens
In His arms so strong.



To His heart
He keeps me near,
For I am to Him
Precious and dear,

He protects me
With His marvelous might,
He warms my soul
With His soft sunlight..



Yes, as birds sing,
On branches of the tree,
I sing of sweet Jesus,
How much He loves me!
