God gave to me a gift
God gave to me a soul,
God blessed me very 'specially
And that is not quite all.
For God gave to me a beauty
The truest heart to find,
God gave to me a Mother
Who always will be mine.
God gave me life to live
My being all from you,
Your beautiful soul bore me
No other one would do.
God gave to me a Mother
God gave all that is true,
For He gave His very best
When He said I could have you.

Love you forever Mom

Poetry from the Heart

If I had a flower for each time I thought of My Mother,
I could walk in my garden forever.

There is no velvet so soft as a mother's lap
no rose as lovely as her smile, no path so flowery as that
imprinted with her footsteps.
