I keep my mother in my heart
That's where she'll always be
Unfortunately we are now apart
The Good Lord took her from me.
In my heart she is always near
As that is where she resides
Although I may still shed some tears
I know she is my guide.
She continues to watch and help me through
All of life's trials and tribulations
She helps me to smile when I'm feeling blue
To her I give this dedication.
