~From Your Son~
On Mother's Day
When a son says, "I love you, Mom"
it can be for lots of reasons
Perhaps, it's the way
she held him when he was small
or the way she taught him
to be strong and proud
of who he was...
Maybe it's because
even when it wasn't easy
she loved him anyway
and went right on believing in him
And maybe
if he's very lucky
"It's because of all those things
At least, that's how I feel
when I say "I love you, Mom"
