~My Heart Song~

God blessed you with the sweetest gift
A child within your soul,
With the call to love me so
Until I'd be completely whole.
So you nurtured me in tenderness
In the heart of God above,
Til blossoming in God's own way
I was cradled in His love.

For time became, when God would say,
All gentle loveliness to wear,
A thankyou, to your parent heart
For my precious life prepared.
With all the wondrous work completed
There was nothing more to do,
In Jesus grace, I flew to heaven
Created soft and true.

For in loving God with all your heart
My life was turned His way,
To keep me safe from all earth's pain
He called me home this day.
By faith, you see the wondrous plan
Of all I have been spared,
Great would be your sorrow
To see me broken by life's care.

As you weep long in your loss
You'll know the comfort of His love,
And as years roll by, you will give thanks
I'm safe with God above.
Although I left an emptiness
Your love for me, is more,
My gift, to draw your heart to heaven,
For the reunion you long for.

I left behind your preciousness
The sweetness of your grace,
Now you smile beneath your tears
Dreaming...love upon my face.
For your life can't know a greater joy
Than bearing an eternal child,
For God to hold me in His arms forever
In His beauty glorified.

Dear Lord, hold all parents close,
with the same love
that gives their children
wings to fly.

Poetry From The Heart

This is what The Lord says,
I will return to Zion..
then Jerusalem will be
called the City of Truth...
The city streets will be filled
with boys and girls playing there.
They will be like a well watered garden,
and they will sorrow no more.
Then maidens will dance and be glad,
young men and old as well.
I will turn their mourning into gladness.
I will give them comfort
and joy instead of sorrow.
