For My Sister-In-Law

I have a special sister-in-law
We're close from year to year,
And that is why I like her so
Because she's such a dear.
Whatever I may chat about,
She always loves to hear,
I like my sister so
For we can share life's fears.



Anytime I have some news,
Or a woeful tale to tell,
My sister then will listen
She's sure my kind of gal.
Like me, she's struggled onward,
And knows about true love,
Her heart is pure and kind
With trust in God above.



I like to listen to her memories,
And all she can discern
For we share the same family
And much the same concern.
Today I want to honour her,
And tell how much I care,
So here's to your heart, dear one
My sis beyond compare.

for all the loving that you share.
