This year has come and gone so fast
Soon it will become a part of my past
2010 was not a good year
Too much sorrow, too many tears.

I pray this year will treat me kind
'Cause January 1st, I'm leaving my past behind
I'll greet the New Year, with a smile on my face
And 2010, I will erase.
Don't want a repeat of the year before
On the 31st day, I'll close that door
I'm leaving behind, sad memories
So 2011, please be kind to me.
