Beautiful is this day,
The sun streams through trees,
Beautiful is this morn,
Bringing me to my knees,
Beautiful is the sound
Of the birds as they sing,
Beautiful is the symphony
I hear in everything,
Beautiful is the sky,
Bright and blue,
Beautiful are the heavens,
Timeless and true.
Yes, beautiful and bountiful,
Blissful and blessed,
Is all I see in Jesus,
He gives only the best.
He sheds endless graces
Upon all I see,
Showing wonders of heaven,
Tastes of eternity.
He pours sweet mercies
Upon all I do,
Such that each day
I live life anew.
He lavishes pure love
Everywhere I go,
Yes, His limitless love
Is all that I know.
So on this day
With skies so blue,
I sing of Jesus’ love
So timeless and true,
Of His glorious graces
I gratefully sing,
For He is my life,
He is my everything..
Yes, beautiful is this day,
As sun streams through trees..
Yet far more beautiful is Jesus
Who brings me to my knees!
