Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified.
And they took Jesus, and led him away.
And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull,
which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:
Where they crucified him, and two other with him,
on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.
John Chapter 19 verses 16 - 18
Jesus gave His life for us that day
At Calvary on a hill far away
Tears of heartbreak fell that day
And many others began to pray.
The crowd turned and walked away
Never knowing the price that was paid that day
The sky grew dark and the earth did quake
Still the crowd did not realize their mistake.
Jesus arose from the grave and walked away
He is alive and ready to forgive our sin today
Trust in Him to hear every word that you say
Have faith, bow your head and pray.
In the bible Jesus speaks of what should be known
He tells of the battle with devil forces we must face
Jesus will give us victory as we stand together in place
And is coming back to claim all believers His own.
Today many refuse to remember or see
Jesus gave His life on Mount Calvary
But the time will come and is very near
When all on earth His voice will hear.

1 Peter 3:12 (KJV)
For the eyes of the Lord are over
the righteous, and his ears are open
unto their prayers: but the face of the
Lord is against them that do evil.
