A Prayer to Our Lord Everyday as we awake, we should thank the Lord above Pray to give us guidance and fill our hearts with Love Please dear Jesus, help us to face what comes our way Hold us in the Palm of your hand so we will never stray. Keep us safe and help us to always feel you near So that anger, hatred, sorrow and pain, we will never have to fear Help us to be patient, gentle and kind We need to feel your lasting love is never far behind.
