Stars shine above
In the expansive sky,
Sparkling with joy
Before my eye,
Lighting with bliss
The deep night,
Uplifting my soul
With a beautiful sight,
Reminding me of Jesus,
Of His vast love,
Yes, I see His kiss
In the stars above..
Countless, breathtaking,
Beautiful they are,
Yet not one is like
My Morning Star,
He renews the heart,
Transforms the mind,
He is the eternal light
For all mankind,
He turns to dawn
The night of my soul,
His embrace of Sonshine
Makes me whole.
So I smile
As I gaze at stars above,
Thinking of my Jesus,
Of His sweet love,
Grateful He turns
To dawn my night,
Thankful He makes
The gray days bright..
Yes, as stars shine
In the expansive sky,
I sing of Jesus,
Who makes my soul fly!
