Our world today is filled with sorrow
So much heartache and despair
Many people feel forsaken by God
Because they forget the power of prayer.

God knows the burdens that we bear
He wants to guide us everywhere
But we seem to have forgotten He is there
And use our weapon, the power of prayer.



We must learn again how to believe
God's miracles are great and rare
Trusting that He will always be there
Have faith and use the power of prayer.

Each day we will grow in strength and love
Holding on to God's hand from above
Once again my life with Him I share
Because I believe in the power of prayer.
