Pray Why is God so far away Just last month I knelt to pray Why do I feel so lost and undone Doesn't God care what I have to say? Where was God when I knelt to pray So desperateley, I ask Him... "God, teach me what to say" And with gentle guidance How often should I pray? When I had failed to listen... I discovered to my dismay It was me that had choose to leave And it was He that had loyally stayed. I then said, "Forgive Me" Please wash my sins away Make them ever white as snow And I talk to Him each day. Oh, God please...never let me go, For in His word, it tells us that, if we do not pray There'll come a time in which, we will surely stray. When I kneel to pray each day My hearts desire... Forever with Him to stay Thank you God for showing me, The marvelous truth and way. Now, thanks to God, I know how often I ought to pray each day.
