Tucked away with all your old sweaters
These memories so precious and few
Your portrait has faded from ages
A couple have been torn in two
Placed carefully between loose leaf pages
These pictures of me loving you
The love that we shared seemed so endless
As these momento's I have of you
Loving feeling that you so tenderly expressed
While you were holding me like you used to
So I take out all of these love letters
Read each one as if they were new
Sometimes they help me feel better
