Revenge
If you embark on a journey of revenge
It will eventually make you a slave
Nothing good will ever come from it
You might as well dig two graves.
Revenge is a negative emotion
Don't venture down this road
The devil has a hand in this
Your soul it will erode.
Before you know it, you are consumed
With bitterness, hatred, and malice
Your main objective is to get even
It's then you become quite callous.
What you should always do instead
Is forgive whoever hurt you
Open your heart and let love in
Forgiveness is what you should do.
