Knowledge is Like a River
Knowledge is like a river,
It runs ever so deep.
As you try to tap it,
It turns into a creek.
The creek seems so shallow
As you reach to draw down deep.
Where is the ample water
Your mind so fervently needs?
You seek many resources,
And hope you can rely
Upon cornucopia,
But it, too, is shy.
Knowledge is like a river,
It needs small streams, too.
Without a constant feeding,
Both will dry up, soon.
Seek GOD'S Wisdom and Knowledge, [Rom. 11:33]
"Fleshly wisdom" runs dry. [2 Cor. 1:12]
"Only THE LORD gives thee wisdom," [1 Chron. 22:12]
And He offers an eternal supply.
