Twilight Time
It's twilight time once again
The sun is beginning to set
Golden hues cascading down
The moon hasn't risen yet.
Clouds are starting to dissipate
As day turns into night
The moon will start to rise real soon
And darkness will be pierced with light.
Stars will begin to come into view
Dotting a darkened sky
Adding to the brilliance of the moon
A scene that's hard to describe.
But this happens all the time
Each and every day
Like clockwork a day has passed on by
And once again, its paved the way.
To enjoy the day and a sunset
To enjoy the coming of the night
Each has a lot to offer us
Each has moments that will delight.
