Driving along between the trees
With colors of amber and gold
With the sun shining on the leaves
The serenity of God we did behold.



The wind softly blowing the branches
The colorful leaves hold on tight
Every once in a while one falls
And we watch as it blows out of sight.



Driving higher through lovely trees
With their foliage all ablaze
With yellow, bronze and amber
Set against a sky of purple haze.



God’s autumn paintings are bright and bold
His green cedars lends their color to behold
The serenity of autumn is His gift of love
Making our spirits soar high in the sky above.
