You are my light which shines
I love you and I am glad you are mine
When I pray you are always near
To me, you are so very dear
Over the rainbow and through the trees
You are from Heaven, a gift to me
In the park I see a butterfly
In the air, up in the sky
I wish I could see your face that loves
All the creatures you made above
I am just a little part, yet I am still
Called "God's Art"
You are my light which shines on me
Because of you I can forever see
The beauty in my hand, you gave to me
If I have problems, you do care
Where I go, and how I get there
Dear Jesus, thank you again
For loving me truly, until the end
Heaven is just a touch away
I know with You by my side
I will go there, someday.
