God sent Jesus, His son, from heaven above
To teach and plant seeds of His love
Jesus walked and taught on land and sea
Speaking of God's love for you and me.
They crucified Jesus on a hill far away
His blood was shed for our sins that day
With the angels in heaven
Jesus sits at the right hand of God
His heavenly Father's love we will receive
If we accept Jesus and believe
Have courage to walk the narrow pathway
Trust, living by faith every hour of the day
Jesus sits at the right hand of God
He will return to earth one day
To fulfill every promise He made
May we all be ready to meet Him, I pray.
