For you overflow my heart,
Never ending every thought of you
And all you always are.
Yes, a son is just so wonderful
A gift from God divine,
And this love will be forever
When heaven's yours and mine.
I held you close when you were little
But your Mum I'll always be,
Beyond mere words, the pride I bear
Of the man, that I now see.
Courageous in your bearing
Handsome in your soul,
Beautiful of heart and mind
As your precious life in God unfolds.
I can't begin to thank you
For all you mean to me,
But, somehow you just know
By the tears that you see.
I'm glad there is a special way
Your love I'll always keep,
For love in God will never end
And that is joy complete.
I thank God for you sweetheart every day
in every way
