His Father's love for us to show.
To stop all hate and slow our pace,
Now who with Him will go.

Not for power or personal gain.
Jesus sought to serve mankind,
Now who will share His pain.

Turning spears into pruning hooks
Swords into plowshares warm,
Never again to others harm.

The Son of God came in peace,
To give all people blessed release.
From the curse of war some day,
