So sorry to hear your sad news
Of the loss that's come your way
May God be near to strengthen you
And comfort you today



May the love of Christ uplift you
To dispel all nagging fear
As He leads you onward step by step
In all that He holds dear



May His own peace fill your heart
As in His love you rest
Content within each day to know
His will unfolds to bless



I pray in the pressing hurt and grief
You will find His heart enough
