Life holds both sunshine and rain
Not all our days are bright and fair
But when the showers pass over
Behold the splendor of God is there.

Falling rain will dissolve into mist
Loud rolling thunder begins to die
And long streaks of lightning fade
Behold the splendor of God in the sky.



Miracles happen after the rain
Rainbows appear across the sky
We watch in awe at the splendor of God
As multi-colored clouds float by.

Many times rain storms may trouble us
Causing doubt and a feeling of dismay
Look up, behold the splendor of God
And be blessed by His rainbow again today
