A Little Girls Prayer

"My Daddy" needs you, Jesus;
Why are you here with me?
My mommie says he's fightin,
to set some people free.
She says, he misses bein home
and I sure miss him too.
I miss him bein here each night,
when we both talked to You.
So Jesus, since I'm safe at home,
and he's so far away..
I'd rather have You stay with him
and protect him everyday.
Let him know that you're close by
and give him love from me..
'Cause I know that since I'm askin you,
he'll be safe as he can be.
Thank You Jesus, now I'll sleep
in this bed so soft and warm..
Knowin daddy will be with You
and You'll keep him safe from harm.
