Touch Of Spring
To wake upon the Robin's song
and raise my shades to see the sun
Oh yes, this is where I belong
and see the Robin's nest
Dressed and first coffee of the day
Relaxing on my patio warming from the sun
I meditate and ask God's will as I pray
Nature budding all around me grass so green
Small furry creatures scamper all about
Not noticing me as I am still
Searching for food tugging on a sprout
Fine lines are etched in the sky
Gorgeous pink tulips and lily of the valley
Edged our patio in vibrant pink and white
Fine fragrant scent; make a grand finale
Robins pulling worms; hearing their babies cry
Daydreaming and making pictures out of clouds
Remembering when I was young and couldn't wait to grow up
Avoiding people and shopping crowds
Laughing at the thought as no one wants to turn gray
Fresh spring air as after a fresh rain
My neighbor joins me a welcomed surprise
A distance faint sound of a train
Our conversation starts, a new day begins.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through
Faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of
GOD not by works, so that no one can boast.
Ephesians 2: 8 - 9
