As I was sitting by the lake
I saw birds leaping over the rainbow
Then I saw the most beautiful bird gliding
It was the pure white swan I know
Only last year it was an ugly ducking
It came to feed from my hand
Now I see it radiating charm,
Like a ballerina
With graceful wings out spanned
I hear her song when she comes near
Her elegance, the ripple of the water
Which dances full of the beauty
Of this lone swan,
Who's life is calm
God created the beauty of His heart
When the swan came to be.
