Prayer is like a beacon of light
it shines to God's heavenly throne.
It is a life line that He has given
and He reserves it for His very own.

Prayer can guide us through lifes angry storms
to a haven where waters are clear.
There we can find God's abundant grace
where fears fade, and doubts disappear.



Have you talked to the Father today?
have you taken the time to pray?
There is always a way, when we earnestly pray
so talk to the Father today,
so talk to the Father today.

Prayer is a force God's children can use
and the world cannot sever one word.
It can find it's way to God's open ear
and our slightest whispers are heard.



When we shall see Jesus face to face
and we thank Him for His love and care.
I'll add a special thank you to Him
for the times that He answered my prayer.
