Dear Lord, I put myself into Thy hands
I will trust in Thee the rest of my years
I now believe and understand
Prayers are better than fears.
By faith I cast all my fears away
They have cost me many tears
My life is much happier today
Because prayers are better than fears.
I am not the person I used to be
My prayers to Thee have set me free
They have brought me sweet release
And by Thy grace I now have peace.
I know God watches over me today
He hears me when I pray
And will care for me in my golden years
Oh yes, prayers are better than fears.
