Today is such a very special day
For giving thanks to God
for the loving hand He gives
for me
to always hold

And with that gentle hand of love
He brought to me a friend,
to share His love
together
our hearts to sweetly blend

So as I sit in quiet contemplation
I offer up a little prayer
of gratitude
for blessing me each day
with the lovely heart of you

You may ask me how I know My Lord is real.
I can feel His hand in mine, and that's enough for me.
I will never walk alone, He holds my hand.
'Till the day He tells me why He loves me so,
I can feel His hand in mine, that's all I need to know.
