Thank you God for prayers that came my way
From many brothers and sisters from far away
The unexpected courtesy, the thoughtful deed
So many messages of hope in my time of need.
Thank you God for these angels I will never see
Loving brothers and sisters in Christ who prayed for me
In my mind I can see their beautiful smiling faces
A sweet surprise from never dreamed of places.
Thank you God for all the blessings bestowed on me
And all new brothers and sisters I shall never see
I pray one day in heaven we shall all meet
Singing praises to God as we walk heaven's street.
