There is a day I know it’s coming
When my life on earth will end
I praise God when my life is over
I’ve a better one I’ll begin



This world hasn’t anything to offer
As everything will turn to dust
I’ll keep my eyes on Jesus
His is the precious blood I trust



I can see the lights of Heaven
Over on that blissful shore
I can feel the hand of Jesus
Holding mine forever more



On that day when I cross Jordan
Know I won’t be alone
As the precious hand of Jesus
Will be reaching for my own



I just want my Lord to use me
While I’m living in this place
So that I might lead another
To His precious throne of grace



Nothing else could be of profit
but to be a witness for my King
Things on earth have no value
but His love makes my heart want to sing
